General Presentation

Hello, my name is Thomas Clavé. I am 17 years old and I am studying Networks and telecommunications at the University Institute of Technology of Blagnac, in the south west of France.
Initially, I came from the Landes where I grew up and went to school. Today I live in Blagnac, in the conurbation of Toulouse.
I really like the “Ville Rose”, even though I'm still discovering it. I hope to stay a few more years here after my studies.

Personal qualities

Every day, I'm a sociable person. I don't hesitate to strike up a conversation with strangers.
I'm also a volunteer in multiple domains, I will go back on it later.
I'm also a motivated person, I'm always determined and committed.

My interests and hobbies

Outside my studies, I’m self-taught in multiple domains and I love learning new things that will be useful for me like IT and DIY.
Also, I’m a rugby player. This sport gave me values that have become mine like combativity and determination.
And like a big part of my generation, I like to play video games!

Why I choose R&T in Blagnac ?

Last Year, I chose on the platform “Parcoursup” Blagnac’s bachelor of networks and telecommunications with 4 other cities.
Networks and Telecommunications is the most interesting and useful topic for me because it allows me to combine my passion with my studies.
The BUT R&T of Blagnac was my priority wish on “Parcoursup”.

Commitments

As I said, I’m a volunteering person.
During my schooling, I was elected class delegate several times and once student representative on the board of directors in middle school.
This year, I’m a candidate to be R&T’s student representative.
Also, I was elected at the youth council of my village where I lead different projects like a city-stade or a bus stop for the young people.
Now, I would like to join the gendarmerie’s (rural police) operational reserve to help and serve my fellow citizens.
